Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana CEO Dr. Steven Udvarhelyi, Department of Health Secretary Dr. Rebekah Gee, and Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon will be among the speakers addressing the Louisiana Association of Health Plans (LAHP) Annual Conference on Dec. 15 at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.
The conference, which attracts about 350 healthcare industry professionals from around the region and country each year, will focus on state health policy, the Healthy Louisiana program, and other issues affecting the insurance and health benefits industry.
Other speakers who will be addressing this year’s conference include United Healthcare Louisiana Community Plan President and CEO Allison Young, Lafayette General Health President David Callecod, Louisiana Department of Justice Chief Deputy Attorney General Bill Stiles, and members of the Louisiana Colorectal Cancer Roundtable.
