Louisiana Center for Health Equity Holds Health Summit in New Orleans

Louisiana Center for Health Equity will hold its 10th annual 2025 Health Summit in New Orleans from Sept. 23-24. The theme is “LA40by2030 Mapping the Distance to the Goal.” Since its inception, the Health Summit has become a platform for collaboration, strategy, and action toward better health outcomes for all Louisianans. Regularly held in Baton Rouge, this year’s summit will bring individuals from across the state and nation to New Orleans.

The ultimate goal of the collective work is LA40by2030, or for Louisiana to rank in the top 40th states for health outcomes by 2030.

Healthcare professionals, service providers, insurers, researchers, educators, faith-based and nonprofit organizations, law enforcement, and businesses will join policymakers, elected officials, advocates, community health leaders, and members of the public. Together, they will focus on developing strategies and promoting alignment and collaboration to advance health outcomes across the state.

The event will be held at Dillard University, Professional Schools Building, 2601 Gentilly Blvd, in New Orleans.
