Pediatric orthopedic surgeon Ryan P. Farmer, MD, FAAOS, is now offering appointments at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove and Ochsner Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute at Elite Training Complex – Burbank.
Farmer is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in the treatment of scoliosis, fractures, hip dysplasia, limb deformities, and other pediatric developmental limb abnormalities. He completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo, and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minn. Farmer is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He is also a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, the Louisiana Orthopedic Association, the Scoliosis Research Society, and the American Orthopedic Association’s Emerging Leaders Program.
Farmer sees patients on Mondays and Thursdays at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove at 10310 The Grove Blvd. Baton Rouge, La. On the third Wednesday of each month, he sees patients at Ochsner Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute at Elite Training Complex – Burbank at 5444 Burbank Dr., also in Baton Rouge.
