Ochsner Baton Rouge announced that Quentin Alleva, MD, has been named regional medical director, effective June 30. In this role, Alleva will provide medical staff leadership and support provider engagement and growth.
Alleva joined Ochsner Baton Rouge as a staff radiologist in 2008 at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. Since 2012, he has served as regional chair of radiology. In 2018, he was named associate medical director of medical specialties for the Baton Rouge region.
After earning a medical degree from Yale School of Medicine, Alleva completed an internship and residency at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. He went on to complete a fellowship in body imaging at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and is certified through the American Board of Radiology.
