Our Lady of the Lake and Dr. Joseph Broyles with the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge are teaming up to host a free educational seminar on joint replacement on May 16 from 6-7 p.m. at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel. Participants will learn more about the common causes, symptoms, and treatment options for osteoarthritis, as well as the benefits of joint replacement surgery for the knees and hip.
Dr. Broyles is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. After receiving his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, Broyles completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Forth Worth, Texas, and a fellowship in total joint replacement in St. Louis, Mo., under Dr. Leo Whiteside.
