Woman’s Hospital welcomed Kaitlyn Taylor, MD, to its team of maternal-fetal medicine physicians.
Taylor is a board-certified OBGYN specializing in maternal-fetal medicine. She provides comprehensive care for patients with high-risk pregnancies. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at LSU Baton Rouge and fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Originally from Louisiana, Taylor is grateful to be back home caring for women and families in the Baton Rouge community. She focuses on helping patients understand complicated diagnoses and treatment options so they can feel informed and supported throughout their pregnancies.
Taylor is joining a team of seven physicians under the leadership of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Director Edward Veillon, MD.
As a Level III Regional Referral Facility for obstetrical and neonatal care, the Woman’s MFM team has specialized training and experience in the care of high-risk mothers and their babies. They work with obstetricians to navigate the complexities of high-risk pregnancy.
