The Foundation for Woman’s, which supports Woman’s Hospital, launched Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its annual BUST Bra Art Fashion Show, held Oct. 1 at the Crowne Plaza Executive Center in Baton Rouge.
This year marks Woman’s 12th year to host this event, which brings together celebration, inspiration and community as breast cancer survivors model one-of-a-kind bras transformed into wearable works of art.
Created by local artists, each design reflects the unique strength and spirit of each survivor’s journey. Proceeds support the fight against cancer and help fund community outreach, lifesaving mammograms and other services for women.
