Sage Breaks Ground on New Facility

On Monday, November 28, Sage Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Services hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to bless the future site of their new 10,000-square-foot outpatient clinic. The clinic will be located near the Intersection of Picardy and Mancuso in Baton Rouge.

Construction will begin December 5 on Sage's new outpatient facility that will feature a 3,000-square-foot therapy gymnasium and indoor walking track, clinic rooms, and patient treatment rooms, exterior walking track and activity court, and more. Renderings of the state-of-the-art facility will be on display at the groundbreaking ceremony November 28.

Pat Mitchell, President and CEO of The Carpenter Health Network and Gayla Bryant, vice president of Rehab Operations and Restorative Services, broke ground on the future site of the clinic. They were joined by architect Tommy Dauzet of Mougeot Architecture and representatives from Stuart & Company General Contractors, who are leading this project.

Pastor Sam Mason of St. Joseph Hospice blessed the site and prayed over the construction project.
