Woman’s Hospital announced Moody’s Credit Ratings has upgraded Woman’s Hospital Foundation (WHF) rating to A-1 with a stable outlook.
“This is a major achievement for our hospital and reflects our strong financial position and continued commitment to providing high quality and excellent care by our physicians, nurses, and team for women and infants across Louisiana,” said Woman’s President and CEO Rene Ragas. “This is also a testament to the sound financial stewardship and leadership of our board of directors. It not only strengthens our creditworthiness, but also allows us to reinvest in our mission, and puts us in a positive position for future initiatives and growth.”
Highlights from the Moody’s Report:
-The A1 rating reflects WHF's very good market position, financial performance above peers, and excellent liquidity.
-WHF saw strong performance in 2025, defying national birth trends, while growing cancer services, the new offerings in perinatal mental health and pediatric intensive care enhance clinical depth.
