Baton Rouge General (BRG) is hosting free vein screenings each month starting in February.
BRG’s board-certified vein care providers will perform a brief exam, discuss your symptoms, and perform an ultrasound to take a look at the superficial veins in the legs. The screenings are free, but participants should reserve a spot.
The screenings will be held each month from 4-5:30 p.m. on BRG’s Bluebonnet campus:
-Tuesday, February 10
-Thursday, March 19
-Tuesday, April 14
-Thursday, May 21
-Tuesday, June 16
If you have experienced any of the below conditions, you are a good candidate for a vein screening:
-Swelling
-Ulcers
-Varicose veins
-Spider veins
-Blood clots
-DVT
