FranU to Host MSNS Preview Night for Prospective Graduate Dietetics Students

The Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University invites prospective graduate students to explore its Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences (MSNS) program during MSNS Preview Night on Oct. 23 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The event will take place in the 3rd Floor Board Room of St. Francis Hall, located at 5414 Brittany Dr. in Baton Rouge.

Led by program faculty and current MSNS students, this interactive session offers a first-hand look at FranU’s graduate program in nutrition and dietetics, including pathways leading to the registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credential and a thesis track for research-focused students.

Attendees will:

·        Learn about the MSNS curriculum and concentration in community nutrition

·        Hear from faculty and students about experiential learning, including simulations in the Simulation Environment Teaching Hospital (SETH)

·        Gain insight into the admissions process, key dates, and application deadlines

·        Engage in a Q&A session to have individual questions answered
