In recognition of Women’s Health Month, Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is offering free vein screenings in Baton Rouge and Prairieville.
This screening is ideal for individuals experiencing symptoms of venous disease in the legs, such as swelling, pain, varicose veins, ulcers, or discoloration. Guests will receive complimentary thermal imaging scans, an advanced photographic technology used to detect venous insufficiency in the legs. Results will be reviewed on site by CIS cardiologist Shashi Gavini, MD.
Free screening details are as follows:
-CIS Prairieville: Wednesday, May 21 from 2-4 p.m. at 6550 Main Street, Suite 1000.
-CIS Baton Rouge: Friday, May 23 from 9-11 a.m. at 8401 Picardy Avenue.
